SkyDec acquires ISO 14001:2004 certification

Like last year, SkyDec starts the new year with another important achievement. Next to our ISO 9001:2008 certification received in January 2010, SkyDec acquires also the ISO 14001:2004 certification.
The implementation of another DNV certification shows that we have continued our increased awareness of sustainable development as an environmental credible company on our journey of continuous performance improvement with regards to quality, environment and safety related issues.
The ISO 14001:2004 certificate proves that our environmental management system has been measured against a best practice standard, nationally and internationally, and found compliant. ISO 14001:2004 is the world's most recognized and used framework for environmental management systems and based on the two concepts of continual improvement and regulatory compliance.
DNV (Det Norske Veritas) is an independent foundation with the purpose to safeguarding life, property, and the environment. As a leading international provider of services for managing risk, their view is that the point of managing risk is not necessarily to eliminate risk, but to have an overview of the most critical risks and to manage them professionally.
